What this site measures

This is a personal portfolio. It runs basic analytics so I can tell whether the work is landing and which applications people are arriving from. Here is the whole of it, in plain terms.

What is collected. Pages viewed, how long the page was open and visible, how far it scrolled, and clicks on the resume, email, and project links. Your browser also reports its language, screen size, and time zone, and the referring site if you arrived from a link. When a link I sent includes a short code in the address, that code is recorded so I know which application or message the visit came from.

My server sees the network your request came from (the internet provider or company network name) and the approximate city, which is standard for any web request. Your IP address itself is not stored.

The site also uses Microsoft Clarity, which records anonymised page interactions such as scrolling and clicks so I can see which sections people actually read. It does not capture what you type. Microsoft's practices are described in their privacy statement.

What is not collected. No names, no email addresses, no accounts, no advertising, no data sold or shared with anyone, and no attempt to identify you personally.

Opting out. Turn on "Do Not Track" in your browser and this site collects nothing at all. Any standard content blocker will also stop it. To have anything associated with your visit removed, email merttureli0@gmail.com.
